Hereditary skin condition on hand?

by mtgrits, Jul 21, 2009 04:47PM
I developed a raised spot on my hand years ago and treated it with a wart remover. Nothing happened. I now have a lot of the bumps as does my sister, but each of us has them only on one hand. We do not live together. I had a foreign exchange student who was studying medicine and said it was a blood related virus, but could not translate into English what she meant. My father died of Hepatitis and I have hyper insulin anemia, both which I found some reference to when searching online.  Any ideas? they are more noticeable in the summer b/c they turn pink and my pigment turns brown on the rest of my hand. They are not itchy typically nor hurt, just embarrassing to me.

Thank you!
