Herpes/Warts Really Scared

Ok 8 days ago I went to a "massage place" and a received a didn't want anything more than that but I was kinda coerced into a handjob. She first massage my entire body then she gave me a handjob 8 days ago. I touched her region (just mostly her pubes but I did not insert). I am really scared. What are the odds of me getting Herpes HSV-2. I know the different between 1 and 2. I just want to know my chances.
About 3-4 days after the experience I have had itching in my crotch area. Its itching/burning mostly on my balls and I itch on my butt. I am so scared. Is the itching due to me overreacting? Or do I have a legitamate concern?

It might be theoretically possible for you to catch herpes from the kind of contact you say you had, but it would be pretty unlikely, because if she had active herpes on the outside where you say you touched her, then you probably would have seen something like a cold sore.  The itching and burning are very likely from anxiety.  Unless you get an active cluster of blisters, I don;t think you need to worry.  If you're still anxious anyway, you can see a doctor in 2 months for a herpes 2 blood test.

Also, don't make the same mistake again in massage parlors if you want to avoid future anxiety.

Am not a doctor, but I do not believe that genital warts would show up that quickly. The itching could very well be irritation from her hand job. It is unlikely that if she had herpes that your buttocks would be where they would show up. Itching can come from many causes, and has happened to me because I was worrying about an STD so began to imagine all sorts of horrible things which never were a possibility. Try to relax until the Doctor can respond to you. I bet he gives you some reassuring news.

I saw a cold sore on my lip. But I have been previoulsy diagnosed for HSV-1. So I just figured that cold sore was from stress that I was having frm that event. Thanks doc.

I did have a cold sore a few days after that on my lip. I am now getting tested because I am freaking out.
