Herpes or Irritation????

A day after having sex with my girlfriend on Monday 5/29 I noticed two small red areas about the size of a pen tip on my penis, and they are raised slightly. One is at the base on the right hand side and the other is about half way up the shaft on the backside. It has been two days since I noticed the red areas, they don't appear to be blisters or to have clear fluid in them. They aren't painful to touch, water and soap, hydrogen peroxide, or urine. They don't hurt at all. My concern is that this could be herpes. In the two days, the red area on the backside almost seems to have gone away, but i keep poking and pulling at the area. I have never experienced a 'typical' primary herpes outbreak in either of these areas. Also the day before i noticed these spots i walked about three miles in a wooded area in 93 degree heat. Does this sound like it could be a recurrent herpes outbreak, or something that is due to irritation? If it was a herpes attack how long would it take for the scabs to heal, because in two days one of them almost seems to be going away, if it hadn't been for me pulling and scratching at the area. I'm only 21 years old and i feel like this could ruin my life if it is herpes. Below are some pictures, they arent very clear but they show the red areas. Anything info or speculation you could provide would be very helpful.

Your pictures are too fuzzy to of help.  Your description sounds like irritation, rather than herpes.  If you keep "poking and pulling at the area," the spots are likely to persist.  

Even if these bumps are herpes (and I really don;t think they are), they would be the kind you get with a recurrence, not a primary attack, so the encounter with your girlfriend wouldn't be relevant anyway.

Bottom line: leave the spots alone and let a doctor have a look.

Also, I just picked/scratched at the red area in the middle of the shaft and it began to bleed. Can herpes sores bleed?

They red areas seem to have formed small scabs over them, im not sure if this is due to my basically scratching/picking at them till they bled or does it have more serious implications.

Repeat, and repeat again: leave the spots alone and let a doctor have a look.

Well, after finally leaving the spots alone they seemed to have cleared up in about a day in a half. So it had been 3.5 to 4 days since the spots appeared till they were gone, is this time line too quick for it to be herpes?

um im a 18 yeae old black male and for the last couple of months i have had trhis idea that i have herpes i have found red rashes on my shaft of my penis the rash was a little  itch but not to the extreme actually that dont even start iching in till i actual find them and know they exist um shortly after a couple days to a week later i found little clear bumps asnd when i put the least bit of pressure on tghem they pop and a clear liquid will come out or blood bit for the first time i had a couple of white bumps in the same place  but they were alittle bigger but the also dod the same thing when i touched them i scratched the first set of them off but it seemed like they were healing  them selfs  after about 3 weeks they went away and left scares but after left i thought they were bugg bites i haVE NOTICE THAT I have a couple of bugg bites on my arms  and comparing them they look the same both with that pop on when pressure is increased besides the itching  very mild they dont hurt inless i mess with them and even then the pain goes away in like 5 minutes  but besides the other sytoms i havent had them also when they do come im noticing there comming back moreand each time first out brake 3 bumps or what ever they are second out break like 6 i dont know whats up i hope its something i can cure or nothin at all please give me your expertise in this situation im going crazy!!!!!!!!!
