Herpes question

Hi,
I wrote you on Jan. 21st with a few questions about HSV 2. Thank you for answering them. I have a few extra ones.
When I found out the ELISA test was positive for HSV 2 on Jan. 2nd, I tried to think back to see if I had any symptoms. About 2 years ago, close to when I had sex with a girl I was dating, I got sick. I was very fatigued to the point where I could barely move and my temperature hit 102 degrees. I also had thrush. I didn't have any kind of genital outbreak and my lymph nodes were not swollen. I also had thrush. At first, I thought it was HIV because of the thrush and flu-like symptoms, but I've already been tested multiple times for that in the last 2 1/2 years and came out negative.
Every so often, I have had zit-like bumps on my thigh or butt areas. One night, I had intense itching in my groin area and saw red bumps by the next day. They then left in one day and I never saw them again.  They're basically red bumps that start out small and they may grow to the size of a pimple. They're not comfortable to sit on when they appear, but they don't open up and scab over. They show up and go away like a zit.
Those are all the things I can think of. I'm not sure if that sounds like herpes.
Lastly, I have an appt. to have a Pockit HSV 2 Rapid Test done. I've already been depressed and overreactingly suicidal over the Elisa test. Would confirming the blood test be a smart idea or should I just let it go and think I might or might not have it?
Sorry for the drawn out questions. You do a great job and thank you so much for your help.

Your repeated questions despite reassurance are disconcerting.  Your self-description as, "depressed and overreactingly suicidal" is alarming.  You need help at once, and I mean psychological, not dermatologic.

The symptoms you describe from before--fever, little penile bumps--do not sound like herpes.

But again, your depression and obsession are the major issues before you, not the diagnosis.  Get yourself some help at once.

Best.

I have only had sex with two people, protected.  I have one tiny little cut on my vagina.  I cannot remember how long I have had it but i think for maybe 8 monthes, on and off.  it is always the same one in the exact same spot.  it is tiny, and i have no other symptoms.  what could be wrong?
