Herpes

by K1, May 04, 2002 12:00AM
I have sex with a girl in Feb this year and after 5 weeks
(that over a month). I found a rash and itchy feeling on my penis and  very soon groups of sore shows up. My doc. say it is herpes
but I found no blister. It takes about 10 days to heal.
Then 3 weeks after that, it comes back again in other part
of my penis and this time the sore grow into an half inch
long crack. It feel itchy too but after I wash it with
anti fungus solution, the itchy feeling is gone and no
pain occur on these sore.
Doc. try to do a test on the sore to find out weather
they are herpes or not but the test is nagative. They
say if the test is not taken within 48 hours, it can not
shows the correct result.

I had an outbreak of my athlete foot a few days before my penies
sore outbreak  and I think I did touch my penis after scratching
my toe. So what is the chance of having those fungus up to my
penis and if so what will the symtons be??
I had use condom when I have sex.

You can't spread fungus from the foot to the penis, so don't worry about that.

I can't tell from your description whether you have had two outbreaks of herpes, or else just two cases of irritation.

For a good description and pictures of genital herpes, check out:  http://www.dermnetnz.org/

To get a definitive answer, you should consult a dermatologist and show him the rash as soon as it comes, so he can do a test right away.

But herpes causes blisters, not "a half inch long crack."  So I think it's at least questionable that you have it.

Best.

From the photo, it is very different from what I got.
but my doc. say both crack and no blister is possible.
The 2nd outbread actually affect a larger area.

and I found that the base of my penis had been inflected by
fungus ... at least, it look very much like athlele foot,
patches of dry skill acompany with itch.
This is the 3rd times on that area since the first outbreak.
I am not sure is there any relationship between both infection.
