Hi all new to site, crazy itchy arms syndrome

I have been studying researching and complaining about this itching. Had all Drs blow me off, tried many different things. Some work for short periods of time some not at all. The BP makes sense but why no men? I can't have an MRI to prove this is what I have because I have a neurostimulator in my back for pain management for lower back issues so no magnetic imaging for me. Currently taking Gapapentin when the itch starts helps a little. Very weird thing happened yesterday I was out and about with hubby and friends and no itching all day, the second I walked into my house the itching started with a vengence and took gapapentin this am when I couldn't stand it anymore. Any clues? I also have another web site that I contact people all the time about the itching. I'm just curious why does it affect women and not men?

When you say BP I guess you are talking about 'Brachio-radial Pruritus'. You mention no men are affected? Oh no, men are equally affected. An almost equal number of men and women were seen with an average age of 44 years. International Journal of Dermatology

Are there no manifestations, bumps, redness or anything besides itching?  Have labs been drawn?

yes I am talking about Brachio-radial Puritus.

Well after I scratch myself I do develop bumps and scabs and terrible looking arms. Yes I have had labs to check liver and kidney all is well there. I'm beginning to lean more to the Brachio-radial Puritus.
