Hickey-like spots on leg

I don't think this is a rash.  I went to a doctor I didn't like (kind of a last minute appt after my mom made me go in) and I didn't get many answers because I didn't let them biopsy the skin because I don't have insurance right now.  These spots look like hickies (Hickeys?) because they are not raised, not itchy, not spreading, not getting any better or any worse.  The doctor thought it could be a vascular disorder or that the very worst a problem with one of my organs.  She didn't ask about my diet or lifestyle, she really just wanted to take some of my skin for testing.  I was hoping to get some insight until I can pay for the proper tests.  I will attach a photo.

I asked a doctor about it, and he said in my case it was harmless. It just has to do with being in contact of citrus juice and being in the sun too long

I just got this, but its towards the ends of my arms and legs. There's more on my left arm than my right. I started going to the gym about a week ago and i took protein shakes, i'm not sure if either of those things are related, but they only appeared after that. I just woke up with the marks and i was concerned

I have these also.  They started under my arms and itched at first.  They wouldn't go away with cortisone or fungal meds I bought over the counter.  After 2 months I finally went to a dermatologist who biopsed the "hickeys" and it turned out to be Shamberg's Disease.  He gave me a steroid cream which I used for 2 weeks and the marks went away.  But now 2 months later the marks have now appeared on my belly and back.  Shamberg's is a cosmetic condition so it's not dangerous.  The doctor also told me that taking vitamin c seems to help also.   Hope this helps you all.

I have the exact same thing on both of my legs and one spot on the bottom of my foot. I don't have this anywhere else and I first noticed it about a month ago after. I don't have insurance so I can not go see a doctor. Did you find out what it might be?

I have very similar spots and I have had a skin biopsy done but got no definite answers.  Just that it might be a virus pityriasis rosea, but the pics online don't look like my spots. Please let me know if you finally get an answer or diagnosis!!

And obviously, I'm not suggesting they are hickeys.
