Hives

So i was put on Prozac and that is when i started getting symptoms of hives. My hands were the first that had became uncontrolably itchy, but no hives appeared. then i stoped taking the prozac and i havnt taken it for over a week. still i get random hives, whether they show up or i just itch my skin. some start as a hard lump then get really itchy. others just start as open bump the size of a pea, then that gets really itchy. i then scratch and scratch because i cant stand it and i get this splotchy ameba looking thing that can get as big as a half dollar, or a large inflamed lump. then more tiny dots surround it. i have gotten these "hives" on my feet, shins, knees, inner thighs, wrists, forearms, shoulders, and back. im really sick of this problem, because once i itch it for a long time, it turns hot then slowly goes away. then soon enough it appears somewhere else. And i know for a fact its not detergent ot food allergies or anything like that. I just dont know what i should do, or how i get ride of it, or what it is. so can someone help me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

From the symptoms it can be hives or urticaria. Cholinergic urticaria is an important possibility. It  is a form of chronic hives that is caused by an increase in body temperature but can be idiopathic also. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the hives. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
