Hot Tub Rash

I have a bad back and hips do to a major car wreck--not my fault. My husband got me a hot tub. After three days, I noticed a "rash" pimples EVERYWHERE, they hurt, itch and very uncomfortable. (I was the only one that got this, several people where in the hot tub as well, but not a long as I was). I went to my Dr. he gave me some antibiotic, its not working a fast as I want it to, (Dr. says I have a hot tub rash). I know that when I go to the tanning bed, it usually clears up my skin. I have no problem going to the tanning bed, but would the tanning bed make this worse or better. Would the sun help. (My Dr is a quack, he never explained anything- 2 or 3 minitues with him for $65.00) Please help.
