How can I stop unwanted facial hair ?

In the past few years after turning 45, I have developed facial hair (like a man's beard) that appears everyday no matter what. I have had laser treatments to stop the growth, but with no success. I am forced to shave or use Neet (switching them daily) and am now forced to use make-up to hide scarring from razor bumps.
Are there any other women experiencing this???????? And what can I do?
I'm thankful that I do not have any other issues facial wise, but it is a daily problem that is truly embarrassing.
