How long does herpes take to show up?

I had sex with a girl on Friday night/Saturday morning. Didn't use protection, went a long time. Sunday morning I have tiny blisters on the head of my penis. Now she was shaved, but there might have been some stubble there. So I want to know how long, after getting infected with herpes does it take for the blisters to show up?

I am off to the GP Friday anyway to get tested.

It can show up anything from 2 days after the event.

Have you tried asking her if she has HSV1 or 2.  If you have blisters get to a clinic while they are still there and get them scraped so that you can know what they are.  You are right.  There is no way of knowing what they are right now until you have done this.
