Candida albicans is the most common culprit and is more commonly known as a yeast infection, or in your mouth, oral thrush/candidiasis. It usually appears as a thick, white covering in your mouth, which may cause discomfort or burning. Treatment would be anti-fungal drugs, like nystatin, which means you need to see a Dr. to get rid of it!
hello. Greeting. What is fungal candida?how do i know that i have fungal infection?specially in my mouth? Please can anybody explain more about those things ? Thank you
Hello,
Herpes is a viral infection and not a fungal infection. For fungal infection of the genitalia, topical and oral antifungals need to be prescribed. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic and not an antifungal which is used for bacterial infection and not fungal infection. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get the diagnosis confirmed.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
