Hyperhidrosis and more

Hello,
I have some little health problems, which could be related with each other or not. First two are related with dermatology.
First of all, I have hyperhidrosis. My hands get sweaty and cold when I am nervous (during a job interview, during a presentation, during exams, while watching a soccer game...). My feet, face and some times my entire body sweat.
Secondly I usually have dandruff on my scalp. Some times I have egzema on my face near my nose and eyes.
Moreover, I have mite allergy, which makes me sneeze.
Lastly, for about 6 months I have tinnitus which is noticable but not so annoying.
For hyperhidrosis I can use antiperspirants and I can use special shampoos and creams against dandruff and egzema. But I want to know the reason of theese diseases.
Whics test needs to be performed in order to understand the problem? Could you please help me?
Thanks.

The Hyperhydrosis can be treated with Ditropan or its generic.  A colleague took this on an as needed basis during stressful instances and he said it worked well.  However, I don't think its related to the three other challenges you face: dandruff, eczema, and tinnitus.  Each of these show signs of some underlying allergies.

There are skin allergy tests, blood (RAST) tests, and elimination tests.  The latter can take many many months as you eliminate foods from your diet and body products from your regimen to see if there's a reduction in symptoms - most people are patient enough to do this, but is the least expensive.  Good luck!

Thanks for your response. I think Ditropan is a medicine for symptomatic treatment and it also has side effects. The reason of my hyperhidrosis is not explained yet. Which tests are necessary to explain the reason of it?

Hello,

You seem to be suffering from Hyperhidrosis ((excessive sweating). It may be primary (without known cause and usually starts during childhood or adolescence and persists all life) or secondary (as part of an underlying condition like Hyperthyroidism or similar endocrine diseases and dermatological conditions like eczema, psoriasis).

You should get evaluated for thyroid disease as it can also cause dry skin.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
