I am not sure exactly what I have,

I have had this problem for about 6-7 months.  On the right & left side of my inner leg right before my testicles there is irritated red skin.  It never seems to go away, I have tried many different types of creams.  It gives the appearance of real dry skin and it really isnt itchy but just irritated.  This irritation connects down to the bottom of my testicals.  Also the upper crack of my *** seems to have the same irritation.  Its not all to bad but what really bothers me is on my penis, below the head, is this red rash thats about 1 inch x 1/2 inch.  When my penis is not erect is when it is most noticeable.  It kind of looks like dried up skin in that area that really looks extremly irritated.  It does not itch or burn at all.  Sometimes when I put cream on it for a few days it seems to dry up, skin flakes off it a little and it seems smoother.  But it just never gives the sign that it is going away.  It never spreads - just always stays the same.  Any idea what this is and what I should do to treat it?

It sounds like possible psoriasis.  Psoriasis affects the roin in the places you list, and looks like red, dry skin.  Psoriasis in the groin is not contagious and very easy to control.  I suggest you make a dermatology appointment.  Meantime, try over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone twice daily and moisturize on top of it as needed.  You should do fine, soon.

Best.

I'm talking about your penis--the same answer applies to all the areas you listed.
