I got a white blotch on my skin under my one armpit

Do i need to worry? Can it spread? How do i treat it plse?

Two possibilities are there for such depigementation. Firstly, it can be due to tinea versicolor. Tinea versicolor is caused by a fungus that lives in the skin of almost all adults. They may be reddish brown, slightly scaly patches or ugly, depigmented areas that will not tan, especially in suntanned skin.

Second possibility is of vitiligo. It is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. To confirm the diagnosis please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
