I had a mole shaved three months ago and now its growing back..

Hi,

About three months ago I had a mole shaved for a biopsy but it came back benign and they said if it grows back to come back in and they will take it out.  Now I am seeing two little brown spots and I am not sure if it is a mole growing back? Should I be worried?

It actually is a scab... I am worried for nothing.  Thanks for your advice though:)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Recurrence and regrowth of mole is common after mole removal. If you notice changes in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful. Then complete removal of the mole may be needed and biopsy done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
