I had unprotected sex and now the head of my penis is VERY sensitive

by pmulc, Sep 13, 2009 09:35PM
Im not sure if its herpes or not... the next day after having unprotected intercourse the head of my penis became very sensitive! even brushing up against my boxers. It's been 2 days now and its still super sensitive, my penis doesnt have any bumps and isnt even red... it just hurts when it brushes up against anything. Does anyone know what this is? help! im getting really stressed out.

duuuude relax lol. im no doctor, but that is NOT herpes. I've had that before too. Yu have a rough and wild night, and i know personally, like most people immediately after "climax" you get extremely sensitive in the head of your penis. It happens. And sometimes, if its been a loooong night, I'm sore the next day too. Chaffing against your underwear isnt helping, im sure. just try to relax, and dont go for any runs or anything! best of luck

has your problem ever lasted more than 2 days? i know ive been sensitive after I climax, but never for this long. I didnt even finish that night because i was too intoxicated.

lol well, i DO remember being quite intoxicated myself once night. I remember my girlfriend and i had sex for what seemed like about 15 minutes, but when i checked my cell phone, its was two hours and forty minutes. and i could hardly walk the next morning. probably didnt help that we used a wood floor instead of a couch or bed :P annyway, like i said, im not trying to give you any 100% info, because im not a doctor. Personally though, i think you just rubbed it a little raw with your woman, and its getting worse with your boxers. best thing i can say is find a soft pair of boxers, and take it easy for awhile. but personally, i cant remember being too sore for more than a day. i think youre going to be ok though. if its discolord, or the skin is broken, that could be a different problem, but just being sore isnt anything to worry about just yet.

To: pmulc,
Hello,
The symptoms that you are having are due to rough intercourse. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.

To: pmulc,
Hello,
If your girlfriend had herpes, then you also need to get evaluated. Herpes simplex is most easily transmitted by direct contact with a lesion or the body fluid of an infected individual. Transmission may also occur through skin-to-skin contact during periods of asymptomatic shedding.

The only way of ruling it out is by getting yourself tested for genital herpes. Laboratory tests include: culture of the virus, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) studies to detect virus, skin biopsy, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to test for presence of viral DNA. I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
