I have bumps on my lips?

I have tiny bumps around my upper and bottome lip. I've had them for a while now but, I did had a boyfriend and we kissed. I was wondering if its the early stage of herpes or something else. Please Help!

From the symptoms it can be Fordyce spots or small irritated hair follicles. Both are non contagious. Fordyce spots are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips.
Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization. Please get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist.
