I have theses pimples

by ammy, Oct 20, 1999 12:00AM
I have two questions for you, the first being, I have theses spots on my chin, the doctor gave me tetrocylin for them, but we are trying to have a baby, and I was taken off the medicin, they are not normal pimples, they are under the skin.  What can I do for them with out the medicin?

Question number two, my daughter has pimple or something on her butt, what can I do for these?  She says they itch once and a while, and they do go away after a bit, but come back.

  Thank you,

Ammy

Ammy:

Even pimples which are under the skin are normal, in the sense of being common.  My advice: compress them with warm water and apply an antibiotic cream containing erythromycin.  You doctor can prescribe that for you safely during pregnancy.  And don't squeeze your pimples!

As for your daughter, apply bacitracin or neosporin (both OTC) once a day after a bath.

Best.

Pimples is stupid

I am a 21 yr. old male whose had scarring and continous breakouts since I was 16 and the scarring is getting worse. Some of the pimples are so painful that it hurts just to touch. Sometimes these pimples are big and red and sometimes you can't notice them but they're always painful. If these pimples are popped they pour out puss then bleed for 10 to 15 minutes nonstop and heavily. After the bleeding stops the pimple is one big hole you can actually see into! One person told me it could be boyles, do you have any suggestions?

Try testing for a condition called mollascum contagiosum.

I have a problem of getting boyles on my "belt line and now I have one on my shoulder. I take a shower at least once a day, so it's not like I'm dirty or anything. So, what can I do to stop thiese from coming around? My father had pimples really bad on his back, and I mean a LOT so I guess I'm lucky in that respect, but, these are really painful and they are even more grusome. Can someone help me?
