I may be allergic to creams for ringworm. How to tell or suggestions?

by dtbrown, Dec 02, 2008 07:33AM
I have a pretty bad case of ringworm on my forearms and started using over the counter creams to hopefully clear it up.  But so far with two different creams (not at the same time) with different active ingredients the ring worm is kind of drying up but all around my ringworm area is now tiny little bumps that look like developing zits.  Is it possible that I'm having an allergic reaction to the cream?  Reason for two different creams is I was thinking I was having an allergic reaction so I tried another to see and it made it worse.  Any suggestions?   And it may come that I need to go to a doctor to get a heavier prescription or something that I'm not allergic to, so what do you suggest since I don't have insurance?  Thanks in advance.
