I need help with the bumps and rash looking skin condition on my legs and arms

I know that some of the marks on my arms and legs are actinic keratosis and I have been using effudex for those.  I have been a sun-worshipper forever and have lived in the worst places.. California and Texas.

I have many freckles and some discoloration of the skin from such frequent sun exposure.  However, amongst the freckles and discoloration are many red rash like bumps.  On my legs, it almost looks like razor burn.  These areas do not itch and are not bothersome in any way except appearance.  I also have these red bums on my upper forearms.  I do not have any bumps or red areas on my stomach or chest,  Just legs and arms.

I have tried ammonium lactate lotion, staying out of the sun, effudex, alcohol.

the last time I went to the dermatologist, he told me not to get into a long novel because of my tanning and I have been leary of them ever since.  That is beside the point.

I have pictures of my legs, but I do not know how to send them to you.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know that you need any help.  The doctor who prescribed the Efudex presumably noticed these red marks and didn't think they amounted to anything.  If you're not sure about this, you should ask.
