I need some advice.

I have a circular rash that will start about the size of a nickel then spread to about 3 inches in diameter. This has been a ongoing problem and I have used most over the counter products to stop this, but it seems like if i leave it alone then it goes away faster. they just randomly apear on my left hip and after a few weeks disappear. they do not itch unless i scratch them and every once and a while i will have one in the crease behind my left knee. The metal on all belt buckles irritates my skin and i'm wondering if this is another reaction to the metal on my pants. Or if it is infact ring worm. It has not come up on any potion of my body it is just getting really irritating and looks bad. I am also in very warm wet conditions quite frequently and thought maybe that could be another cause. Let me know if you have any idea's.
Thank you,
          Tim
