I shaved my pubic hair, now my skin is dry, flaky and breaking?

As the title says, I shaved my pubic hair with a naked clipper which people use to cut head hair (this razor was new and never been used). Stupid thing to do. At first there was no problems, but as the hair started to grow back my skin got dry, had patches, lacirations, the skin started to peel of and so on.

I thought I'd give it a couple of weeks, but now it has been more than a month and no healing seems to be taking place. I have a busy schedule so can't see a doctor until next week, has any one got any advice? Creams? things to do and so on? I am currently using E45, only for about a week or so, and that as well has not done much if anything.

I also shaved my underarm hair and have a few lacirations that do not seem to heal. Any advice will be much welcomed.

Boil water, use a clean white cotton cloth and dip it in the hot water. Lay the hot cloth on the genital skin (as hot as you can stand it). This will stop the itching in minutes. At first it may itch more, but shortly, the itching will stop. Then apply Neosporin. This method helps tremendously! I itched so badly, that I thought I would loose my mind. This method actually was revealed to me through the Holy Spirit, when I asked God to help me.

I had similar experience. Few days after I shaved my pubic hair using only a razor, .. I didn't use soap, foam or anything when I did that, my skin became flaky and very very dry..

Sometimes, when I scratched it, dry skin kept on falling, ...
and because of my scratching, my down there had gone red too...

It went on for months, 2 months until I decided to buy a bath salt...
I used it to exfoliate all the dry skin , I now shower more often everyday just so that I can use that bath salt.. The key in here is to moisturize and
exfoliate. moisturize and exfoliate. moisturize and exfoliate.

You can use petroleum jelly to moisturize.....to exfoliate, a bath salt...

I used A-Bonne Bath Milk Salt, popuar bath salt in asia, . i don't
know what brand you can substitute to it .
l
But that product is simply made of salt and milk so maybe you could make your homemade bath salt if you like..

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis, eczema or dry skin after shaving or by use of shaving foams. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics and apply a topical antibiotic cream like Neosporin. Application of mild steroid cream like dermacort also helps. For the itching please take some over the counter antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. In case the symptoms persist then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
