I think i might have got HIV?

Alright, i went out, met this girl, got drunk with her, went to hotel, ate her out cuz i was hammered but i had sex with a condom. 3 days later i wake up, sore throat,stuffy nose and my lips and mouth are all dry. The snot isnt yellow just clear. Keep in mind i wear a Mouth GAURD when i sleep but i didnt clean the mouth gaurd after i wore it for 4 days straight. No glands or lymph nodes swollen anywhere. I have allergies and never took anything really for them. Went to the doctor diagnosied me with sinus infection. I also drew blood to check for HIV but that doesnt do anything becasue HIV need 3 or so months to develop. He gave me this medicine that you take for 5 days. You take 6 pills in 5 days, 2 the first and one every day after. he said they stay in your system for another 5 days after the pills are done to help fight the infection. Now honeslty Im trippin out. I read symptoms about HIV on the net and im scared. I wake up now every mourning now and my mouth is dry and WHITE. All day like it comes and goes and when i think about it i sweat and i have bad breath. I aslo have small little white dots on my upper lip,like 4 there not perfect dots but in the shape of dots. They dont hurt at all, there just there. I also been haveing a post nasal drip for like a year but for the last 4 days ive been taking clartin it has gone away but still there once in a while. Today is sunday sept 11 and tommroow in monday sept 12. That means the medicine should be out of my systme tommorow becasue i started it on sept 2. I aslo was just previously checked for HIV 5 months ago and everything was negative. I just did it to check becasue you see all the commercails about HIV. I dont sleep around. I have a gf and i made a stupid mistake when i went out and had sex with another girl. So i am wondering what is wrong with me? do i have HIV? orrrrr give me some feed back pleaseeee, my hiv test doenst come back for anyother 2 weeks and i cant take it. oh and my body achesss. For the past 6 months ive been trippin about HIV.

There are lots of things that can give you a sore throat and stuffy nose besides HIV.  I suggest you consider this a virus of some sort and treat it accordingly, as you're doing with your doctor.  You can always get another HIV test in a few months just to reassure yourself.  If you can't deal with your anxiety, you may have to ask your doctor for a sedative, but the chances that you have anything other than a garden-variety illness are pretty slim, to say the least.

Just thought I'd say...you should check out http://www.thebody.com - oh, and before you go analysing your symptoms and posting a question let me tell you the following:

1. You didn't have unprotected sex, so don't worry!

2. Your symptoms are very very asymptomatic of HIV seroconversion from my studies

I'd still go ahead with your 3 month test, just to put your mind at rest, but I'm sure it'll be -ve!

the dr. said that there are other reasons for a stuffy nose BESIDES hiv. the dr. didnt imply anything? also, this is a dermatology forum. there is an std forum that this particular question may be best suited for?

I think the guy was concerned and asked the dermo because of the sore in his mouth.  Not suggesting this is an STD forum
