ILVEN - Connected to Emotional Stress??

ILVEN - Connected to Emotional Stress??

Hi there,My 16 month old daughter has recently been diagnosed with ILVEN.  What started as a few red, scratch-like lines on the back of her lower left leg has, 4 months later, developed into a bright red, angry-looking rash that covers the back of her leg where it started, and has spread to the back of her left thigh and buttock, and down to her foot.  The dermatologist that made this diagnosis wasn't particularly optermistic in terms of treatment.  He did mention that laser may be an option worth looking into. What I find interesting is this:  My daughter's father left me when I was 7 months pregnant.  Our parenting relationship since has been strained and stressful.  We have problems communicating and have frequent 'discussions' that usually end with me angry and upset.  We have been through a particularly bad patch over the last 4-5 months, and this is the time that my daughter's 'rash' appeared.  We had another of these 'discussions' (which are never in front of her, we live in different cities) yesterday, and I went to bed last night feeling extremely upset and angry.  I woke in the night with the same feelings and in tears. This morning, my daughter's ILVEN has spread further, literally overnight. Is it possible that this condition can result from emotional trauma experienced by a mother while pregnant?  Naturally there is connective energy between a mother and child, and a friend tells me that the left side of the body is the receptive side, which is the side most commonly affected.  I'm wondering if the anger and resentment I felt towards my daughter's father has resulted in the ILVEN appearing and subsequently spreading....Of course, this isn't offering a solution, just posing a question really...  What do people think??

i dont think that this has anything to do with the trauma that you have been feeling...

this is a rare skin condition due to the overgrowth of the epidermis (the upper layer of skin).
this isnt like eczema where stress affects the skin condition...it is a birth mark/scar.
when you say that her skin condition worsened overnight...this is due to her growing.
because as the child grows, so does the ilven.
there is no real way of knowing that the two are linked but it seems really unlikely

about the "connective energy", no offence but i think that is a load of bulloney
