Hi,

This could be folliculitis or inflammed hair folllicle. These are pimple like lesions that may be associated with itching or pain. They usually resolve on their own and has a tendency to recur. Try to keep the area clean and dry. Avoid wearing constrictive clothing to avoid unnecessary pulling of hair.  Warm compress may also help.

If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor to rule out other causes.Take care and keep us posted.
