Incrown facial hairs

Incrown facial hairs

IO have very sensitive skin which gives me problems every time I shave.  Most of the time i get ingrown hairs on my cheeks and neck.  Sometimes, the roots of my hair follicle's are so thick, when I pluck them out there is some puss (like a pimple).  They are very painful and  take some time to heal over.  I have been shaving with a razor for years.  Would you think switching to an electric razor might help this problem?  I just want to grow a beard, but the wife thinks other wise.  Any suggestions?

Hi,
Inrown hair or pseudofolliculitis occurs because the hair grows, then curls back on itself and gets trapped under the skin. You can prevent ingrown hair by shaving in the direction of hair growth and not against it, also do not stretch your skin while shaving. Also use a shaving gel not a shaving cream as it is less irritable to the skin. Also if you grow a beard the ingrown hair will pop right out!
