Infection in a psoraisis(psoriasis) plaque

I have had sevear psoraisis (psoriasis) for 40 years and lhe last few days i have had a plaque that keeps filling with puss. Where did this come from and why all of a sudden is this happening? I was on Humira and then changed to Enberl when the Humira stopped working. The last shot I had was last June. Can you help?

Hello,
It can be due to generalized pustular psoriasis because you already have a history of psoriasis. People with generalised pustular psoriasis have a preceding history of chronic plaque psoriasis (the common variety in which there are persistent red scaly patches). Change of medications is one of the triggering factors. It is characterized by pustules filled with non-infected pus appear on parts of the body especially the flexures and genital areas.

You need to consult immediately your dermatologist because timely intervention is required.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
