Ingrown on hair on scrotum

I had a hard knot show up on the lower part of my scrotum. It feels like an underground pimple, but is much larger than a normal pimple. It has been present for 4 days and within the last 24 hours has started draining pus. Could this be staff? If so, how do I get rid of it?

It can be due to folliculitis, boil or sebaceous cyst. Apply warm compresses and keep the area clean. Drainage of the bump is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription.
