Ingrown or not?

have 3 cyst like bumps, that appeared on my chin area recently. I had assumed they were infected ingrown hairs, as even though this would be my first, i do have very curly hair and am predisposed to them. Anyway i spent 1 hour with a wash rag (just under boiling) on my face, and no hair has shown itself. It has been on my face 1.5 weeks to date. Could this be something else, or if it is infact an ingrown hair, how do i get rid of it. its irritatating and its driving me nuts.

Pls keep the area clean and apply some warm compresses. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove and avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.Also then sebaceous cysts and swollen lymph node have to be ruled out.
