to my glans (glands) and foreskin to become irritated. When I saw a dermatologist, he prescribed a hydrocortisone cream and recommended to use a mild moisturizing cream. This helped and I was a happy man again. Now, a few years later, the problem came up again. This time the cortisone cream did not help. It did reduce the rash, but the foreskin became pale and when I washed it, underneath the pale layer, the red skin came back. I went to a different doctor, as I had moved to another country. The doctor checked for fungal infection, but the test was negative. Then she prescribed ketoconazole, which did help, but what remained was a sensitivity of the foreskin and glans (glands) that was unpleasant. I went back to my inital doctor, who also said that there was no infection and prescribed hydrocortisone again and recommended using a lubricant on water basis. The hydrocortisone showed the same result as initially, but the lubricant helped. The glans (glands) and foreskin took nearly normal color
