Irritating 'rash'

Irritating 'rash'

Hello, I have had this skin condition for year now, and my patience is wearing thin, it started off as a small rash on my legs that wouldn't go away, now it was spread to the back of my shins, knees, all around the upper leg, and forearms, stomach and lower back and back of the hands and feet

The more I scratch it, the itchier it gets, then intense stinging which lasts for a few minutes to half an hour depending, I've also scratched so much that I've bled a lot, and the skin flakes off

I've tried desperately hard not to itch, but it is impossible as in the night I'll wake up and sometimes not even realise I'm doing it, hot water makes it worse too, which makes bathing a real problem

I went to the doctor's twice and on the second visit I was informed it was some kind of fungal infection

Any help on this would be great
