Is It Possible..

by worriedheart832, Jun 25, 2009 08:48AM
I get cold sores frequently and am now on medication to treat them. Since the medication I haven't had them nearly as much! I had oral sex with my boyfriend and then a day and a half later I got a cold sore. Is it possible to have given him gentital cold sores even though I had no contact with him since the development of the said cold sore on my lip?

Herpes type1 has pedilection for the face area though it sometime get transmitted to the genital areas.Though it may be impossible to say, the chances of transmission before breaking the rash is unlikely.
