Is it Skin tag or wart

I noticed a bump that looks like a skin tag on my private area it is flesh colored and is not all attached to skin just the stalk. I went to the doctors about a month before for pap test and std testings everything came back good. When I went back to the doctors a month later the doctor didnt even get 2 feet close to me and said it was a wart. the nite before I was trying to pull it off and it got disfigured and looked worst than what it was. now the swelling is down and I felt really uncomfortable around the doctor she treated me as a disgusting person. She is refering to me to a gyno and never explain what the wart is or anything. I am left clueless. My husband has nothing and we have been together 11 years. I think it is a skin tag cause I have them under my arms and back and I have gained weight. It shrinks after my period and grows before. I was wondering is it a skin tag or wart? Is the doctor wrong? if it was a wart why didnt the doc talk to me about symptons and precautions?

Skin colored lesions may be skin tags, warts and molluscum. In your case, you have mentioned of a stalk. Skin tags usually have stalks and they are not symptomatic at all. Warts may also present with stalks as in the case of filiform warts. These warts unlike genital warts are not necessarily sexually transmitted. They may appear on the face and other parts of the body. This may be a wart or skin tag. You have picked on it and removed it .At this point,healing has ensued. Just observe the skin and see if there are other similar lesions in the body. Warts may be transmitted through direct skin to skin contact. It is best that you refrain touching affected parts of the body.

how do you get rid of these stupid skinstags they look ugly,I just started developing them from 45 onwards I all most 50 .
Where do they come from,why  and how do I get rid of them.
