. Is my hair thinning due to nutritional defieciencies, to hair breakage or it is aga? Does hair thinning from iron deficiency mimic aga? Thanks in advance.
Hi there, yes, our hair is a product of our general health. Check your diet and eat healthily. Stop the hair dying - it contains harsh chemicals. You may have a vitamin absorption problem in your gut - so best to check with your doctor. Best wishes, Thomas
Hello,
This hair loss can be due to allergies to hair dyes or the other possibility is of telogen effluvium. Your ferritin levels are also low and this can cause hair loss. Try taking some iron supplements for some days and also eat a diet rich in iron. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist and get the possibility of telogen effluvium ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
