. It's a very small bump and this concerns me. I just got out of a relationship with a girl and we had been tested twice ,while we were together, and nothing dealing with bumps ever came up. I recently went and had it checked out and the nurse said it didn't look like a genital wart and then she got a second opinion and the other nurse said it didn't look like a wart either. They both were in agreement the bump didn't look like a wart, but it could be. One nurse put on some type of acid on it and told me to see it the skin would fall off and if it did its a wart, but if it doesn't then i need to see a dermatologist. It's a little confusing because there isn't a lot of straight forward information about genital warts. In general, information for men isn't as available as it is for women. I have scene some of the pictures and my little bump doesn't look anything like the genital warts i have scene. I'm also uncircumcised and i'm thinking it could be a hygiene issue. All in all i haven't received a straight answer . Whats the next step?
Genital warts may be readily identified as they do present with a characteristic appearance. This is a single bump and it does not appear to grow or spread. If this is the case, then molluscum
have a tendency to spread. These are skin colored bumps and they may vary in size and shape. Just continue to observe the affected area for a while. If the bump does not grow or increase in number, this may not be something infectious
