Is this Herpes?

Is this Herpes?

Hi, Two topics of concern

1.  A few days ago I noticed a collection of circular white discolorations at the corner of each side of my mouth on the upper lip.  There may have been 10 initially on each side, almost too small to see, and now there may be 15, though it's hard to tell because they are so small and packed together.  They don't hurt at all and they haven't grown in size.  I've been treating it with abreva because I thought it may be oral herpes but I'm not so sure.  Are these representative of Oral Herpes?

2.  Tuesday or wednesday of last week I noticed a few red spots on my penis that were slightly itchy.  They did not seem like blisters and didn't hurt at all.  It ended up seeming like sunburn or a rash where the skin started peeling in a circle around them and then I was fine.  In all it was perhaps three isolated red dots on one side of the shaft, two on the other, and a section at the base that was itchy and had a large patch (little smaller than the size of a quarter) lose some skin.  The weekend before I had had a lot of sex and that monday I had ran a few miles and then not showered before bed.  Does this sound like Herpes or is it more likely to be a rash?  Thank you very much for your time

1.  No, they sound like sebaceous (oil) glands, known as Fordyce granules.  Show a doctor for confirmation.  No treatment is needed.

2.  Not herpes, just a rash from chafing, etc.  Again, an examination is needed for certainty.

Best.
