Is this a wart?

Hi, I have a small round circle on the inside of my toe. I don't think it's a plantar wart because there has never been any black stuff in the middle. Recently it has spread to the toe that touches the other toe. I went to a dermitilogist last year and he froze in about 5 times it appeared to get smaller but did not go away.

My question is --  Is this really a wart? How do I know for sure? What kind of wart is it?

plantar just means on the foot. a wart is a wart typically. there does not have to be black stuff to be a wart. the black specks seen in many warts is simply dried up blood from a trauma that the area had. often warts on the feet are very difficult to eradicate taking repeat treatment and ocassionally electro dessication and curretage or excision(last option as you'd have an open wound). it may spread if you don't get it treated until the lesion is completely resolved and it may take several treatments. if allowed to spread to the bottom of your foot it may become quite painful.
