You can pop them? They dont look like they have anything any them. And with so many of them would popping them be a good thing? Thanks again for the help.
Hello,
For molluscum mostly no treatment is required because the lesions often disappear by themselves and heal without scarring unless infected by bacteria. Apart from the treatment options mentioned before, other topical agents like podophyllotoxin cream, cantharidin and imiquimod can also be used and you can discuss about these with her pediatrician or dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Dear Natalie,
I can totally understand your concern. The soft white core of the lesions can be squeezed out of individual lesions and that usually gets rid of them. It is usually not that painful and you might want to try that, if you don't want to subject your little girl to cryotherapy or imiquimod. Wart paints available over the counter, can also help. The lesions will go away on their own in most cases, but takes time.

I took my daughter in yesterday and found out it is Molluscum contagiosum. they told me they could freeze them off or use a topical cream that is commonly used in chemo therapeutic procedures. Her dr said with her being so young that it is up to me if i want to use the cream and I dont. I also dont want to freeze them off either cause it would hurt her and there are so many. I have looked up home remedies that i plan on trying soon. One being apple cidar vinegar and the other tea tree oil. Hopefully one will work. My daughter is only 3 but kids at her day care pick on her about it and the teachers were concerned so I am trying to get rid of them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Please post some pictures and I should be able to help.

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be molluscum contagiosum which presents as multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug. Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, self limiting viral infection of the skin. It generally affects children and typically occurs in the 2-5 age group. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
