Is water, water?

by avatar1, May 18, 2009 09:36AM
As a human interested in ecology, I would like to remind my fellow beings that the stuff we get out of the tap is not pure H2O and has not been for more than 50 years, remember floride, cholorine, and residental soap? I was once told by a dermatologist that the detergent Gain was helping him build a summer home. Because it remains in items washed in it. Like everyone I tried one of those compression hand crank washers, and discovered some thing amazing, I once forgot to put in the detergent, after cranking for two minutes opened the washer and was amazed to discover it full of suds. Detergent that had been absorbed and remained in my clothes. I eventually started washing them in plain baking soda and they came out perfectly clean. Another factor in this problem is emotional health, remember psyhcosomatic illnesses? Years ago my mother developed psoriasis, while under stress from having my stepfather in Vietnam, I also noticed it cleared up when returned safely. My psoriasis started when my mother died, She may have been a self centered *****, but she was still my mother and I did not grieve when she died. So psycologically speaking theres a ton of unanswered emotional questions there, I don't think I will make a psychiatrist richer, but will allow for passage of time to resolve this question/problem and I feel when my subconcious reaches it's balance, my psoriasis will heal, I always noticed the remarks of others about being thin skinned.
