Isolated white spots on foreskin

I developed a couple of raised white spots which looked like zits on my foreskin in November 2009. I was worried at first and then forgot about them. However, since after Christmas, I noticed three more white 'zits' showed up on my foreskin. There seems to be no pain, no itching or unusual discharge.

My sexual history is really quite sparse - Before my current girlfriend (who I have been with for a little more than a year), I had unprotected sex once with a girl about 5 years prior to my current partner.

I consulted with the sexual health clinic at my university. The doctor assured me that it was not herpes or genital warts. She did refer me to a dermatologist. While I await for a call from the dermatologist's office, I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
