Issues with penis/chafing/irritation/infection maybe?

First of all I want to state some things just to give a broad view. I have hyperthyroidism and I am obese 50% Caucasian 50% Hispanic. I'm a 19 year old male and I am circumsized.

Ok so last November I got a cut on the lower part of the shaft on my penis which I figured was from masturbating so I tried to let it heal, and the skin was very tight around my penis and it seemed to heal wrong and was breaking back open every time I became erect and some times it would heal and I could become erect without it breaking open and I attempted to masturbate again and it did fine..but then about a month later it broke open again. this time I let it be for a month. and started to masturbate again and all was fine until about a month later when again it broke open..so this happened all the way up until this May when I moved in with my girlfriend... and during intercourse I hurt it again. THen I'd let it heal and again it broke open several times and there were a couple spots on the shaft on the left and right side that were almost like dry skin patches which stung.. and so we decided to try and put some triple antibiotic cream on it. and it worked perfect. so we gave it a week or so and we tried some different type of condoms that we don't normally use. (the cheap kind) Trojan-ENZ Lubricated. and it got hurt again. this time with 2 cuts in the same area. and it was just like normal...but then a week later it's still not healed and the cuts have gone away but it's VERY tender and has 1 particular spot where it stings very badly when touched or even when water is touching it. and now..there's some spots almost wart like that are white going in a line almost all the way around the shaft which are right on the crevice of the penis. Notice I am circumsized but I'm a big guy so I have a fat pad kind of thing and my penis still retracts inside a ways like it would with a forskin. So that is the crevice I am speaking of. I also tried some bag balm because I thought it might help since it's kind of like dry skin..but it didn't and i'm using this triple antibiotic cream again and I can't clean it in the shower..so i have to use water and paper towels to clean it..and it takes a long time..and it doesn't seem to be getting any better and it's very painful...and it's hard not to get erect while cleaning it being my girlfriend and I haven't done anything in a while and I'm young so yeah..and in the mornings I wake up erect and that doesn't help either.. I am on the brink of going to see the doctor..please any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds really painful.  Sorry man.  I had a similar issue a few months ago.  It wasn't as bad as what you are describing, but my skin was very dry and even cracked in a few spots.  I tried a lot of different ointments etc., but the only thing that worked was a penis health creme.  These are made for skin issues down there and in my experience, really work.  Find one with Vitamin E and some shea butter and try it out.  Hope this helps.

I have what seems to be the same problem. About a week ago the bottom of the head of my circumsized penis was itchy now I noticed what looks like small cuts on the forskin of my penis shaft. I am a big guy and have a "FUPA" so my penis goes in. When I get erect or urinate and it is streached it hurts, recently more and more.
Im accually relived a bit seeing that other men have had this problem and it is probobly chafing(in fact thats what my wife said it was too) Ive been useing baby powder and it sems to help for a bit but it hasent cured it.  Ive been looking around the internet and have read some articals that sugest trying Hydrocortizone, Miconozole Nitrate, and Calamine Lotion. Has anyone tried these.  Im hopeing to take care of this problem with out a doctor visit as I have no health insurance but if need be will go to the doctor. Pleas le me know if anyone has any ideas.

I have the exact same problem, it's been a month now and no change.  Did the Nystatin cream work?  Please update.

Ok, I went to the Doctor and he said it's a yeast infection and he prescribed me some Nystatin Cream. Hopefully this helps. I'll post back in a week or 2 and say how it went.

I am going to be going to the doctor and I will report back here with the diagnosis and treatments. and it is horribly uncomfortable. I can't even use the restroom without nearly shedding some tears. and I was thinking it might be the lubricant this certain condom has, I've used latex condoms in the past with no problems. but never with this kind of lubricant. I really hope it isn't something serious. Still though any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It sounds horribly uncomfortable. I would go into a doctor and I think you will feel better emotionally as soon as you do. I'm no expert but I would suggest trying raw biogenic aloe on the scabs (not open wounds) it will reduce the heal time by a couple days and will help prevent the breaking back open with errection by keeping it supple. Just don't by the alcohol based stuff, try to get a real aloe plant. I wonder could you be allergic to latex?
Goodluck!

Is your girlfriend having any problems? Might be herpes.
