Itching Arms

by mydeana, Oct 07, 2008 03:27PM
OMG!  I thought I was going crazy!  I have been itching for 8 years!  At first Clariton or Zyrtec helped.  Then the itching came back.  Last year, a dermatologist prescribed Naltrexone which helped for a year.  It was a miracle to me, but now the itching is  back!!!!! worse than ever!  I sleep every night with ice packs on my arms.  Every where we go I have a ziploc bag for ice!   It is a miserable feeling!  I have been to several different doctors and I still believe it is a nerve ending problem.I am going to try the Lidoderm patch and sunscreen.  Anything that will give me some relief.  I am just so glad that I am not going crazy.  Every doctor has told me it is anxiety.  I already take Effexor so that should help.  I will keep you updated and let you know if anything helps me.  Please keep everyone posted if something works for you!!!!
