Itching

I have a question. Don't worry if it keeps up i'm going to the doctor, but I figured I"d ask to see if anyone has a clue instead of googling liver cancer and kidney failure any longer. About 3 weeks ago I started getting these bites I thought were mosquito bites, and at first I think I did get mosquito bites because I was outside. The bites were way bigger than I normally get about the size of a half-dollar I then kept getting new ones finally I got one on my upper trap that was literally the size of half a tennis ball, but then my scalp started itching with raised welts and I have raised welts as well as random raised welts (all smaller than a penny) on my back, around my knees, elbows, and hips. They resolve but new ones always pop up every morning. They itch just like mosquito bites (off and on) and and resolve fairly quickly within 24 hours but new ones are always popping up every single morning. Itching seems a little worse in the morning and sometimes new ones will pop up during the day it seems like the spot will itch and then a welt appears. I was taking a multi vitamin and thought maybe I had too much iron so I stopped taking that a week ago hoping that would resolve it and for a day or 2 I thought it was getting better but it's just exactly the same. I also one week ago stopped using this hair gel I had bought that was new thinking maybe that was the culprit but I couldn't figure out why it was on the rest of my body, but that didn't help either. My husband isn't getting any itching bumps so I don't think it is a bug infestation. Any comments would be appreciated.

Does sound like bed bugs.  Maybe you're tastier than your husband, since they've a choice.  Someone else posted a similar experience (selecting some as victims ignoring others) with bedbugs earlier this week.
