Itchy, red indentations

Itchy, red indentations

For about a year now, I've been getting 1 to 5 red spots on my arms- usually on my forearms or around my elbows. They seem a little like poison ivy: very itchy, concave, and don't scab over. They last a one to three weeks, heal up, and then another 1 to 5 will pop up in another place, but only on my arms.

I have only one right now, has been around for about a week.

What the heck could this be?

No topical application (witch hazel, calamine lotion, neosporin, hydrogen peroxide) seems to help.

any help appreciated!

Hello,
From the symptoms many possibilities are possible. it can  be due to lichen myxedamatous, dermatitis herpetifromis , scabies etc. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get a biopsy skin done to get the diagnosis confirmed.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
