Itchy Rash on Face and torso

Itchy Rash on Face and torso

I have been having a rash that comes and goes.  It started on my face and I had a bunch of red dots it itched, I bought some OTC fungus cream thinking that it was a fungus rash due to the fact I was on 2 perscriptions of Antibiotics.  The first time I got the rash on my face some of the dots got whit/yellow milky centers.  I popped them like zits etc.  the rash went away within a week or so.  The same rash came back again this time on my face and chest and back.  Same red dots this time more wide spread and again about half of them form whiteheads on them.  This rash also was itchy, not horrible but def itchy, my scalp also is itchy This whole issue started about 6 weeks ago.  The recent epsisode of the rash started to go away after about 4 days but has come back again.  Does this sound like a Fungal infection?/ARS/HIV Rash?  Bacterial?  I am a little freaked out bc I did have an unprotected encounter 8 weeks ago hence the 2 perscriptions of antibitotics.  From what I have read ARS/HIV rash doesn't for pusutlates and doesn't occurr 8 weeks after possible infection.  SO if it isn't that is it Fungal?

Hello,
It can be due to allergies, folliculitis or sweat rash. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
