Itchy Red Bumps & Itchy Nipple
Hello, I'm a 22 year old male experiencing a very annoying itchy rash that just came out of nowhere. I don't have health insurance so I'm trying my best to diagnose and treat it. I've spent hours doing research but figured this might be my best bet.
It started a few days ago with an itch and red bumps on my arms and biceps which eventually spread to my chest, by my underarms, and started to spread to the neck. The rash and itching gets worse at night and I can't help but scratch it. It often keeps me awake all hours of the night. It seems like if I scratch anywhere, a little red bump will appear. Eventually I realized if I take my mind off of it, I won't itch so I started listening to music until I fall asleep and so far it's the only thing working. I also noticed that both my nipples are sore and itchy, while my left nipple has developed little red bumps, one directly connected to the nipple itself. I also had an itchy rash/discoloring on my finger. As i scratched it, I noticed little white bumps on it. It spread to my pinky finger and stopped there. I'm treating it with over the counter Cortizone Cream and so far it appears to be healing nicely. I've been taking 2 Benadryls when it gets worse at night just so I can sleep. When I wake up, the itching is temporarily gone but the spots are still visible.
No changes to diet or soaps/detergents.
I went to a doctor last year for itchy/red/discoloring on my buttocks but they assumed it was some sort of jock itch. It never really went away although I didn't exactly follow the treatment 100%.
Any help will be highly appreciated!

I have a similar problem, a week or 2 ago, i started itching on my body, and then 3 days ago, i noticed that i had these bumps i agree, it is weird, but they don't know me or what i do or what I've been through, even if i told them, they still wouldn't understand, that's the problem with most people, they lack imagination, and when they fins someone who fully expresses their imagination, then they want to insult that person and call them weird and falsely accuse them, so how the hell can they judge? On both sides of my body, and I've been using hudrocortizone cream to treat it, and I'm trying to figure out what it could be. I figure that it coyld be an allergic reaction, because lately, I've been missing my daily dose of my allegra pills, because i try to change my time of when i take them, so that i won't get confused and take anaccidentally over dose, and also, it could be a problem with bed bugs, because there was recently bed bugs in one of my relevtives room that i live with and i think that they probably came in into my room and got into my be.
Thank you for taking the time out to answer. After a week of having the marks still present (itching comes and goes), I went to the dermatologist and he seems to think the hives themselves are caused by either Scabies or Dust Mite bites. I am going to try one use of Permitin Cream tomorrow for 12 hours and see if that does the trick. If not, I'll have to go back in for testing. He also thinks the rash on my butt is unrelated and he tiptoed around "ringworm" as the cause and thinks it's more of an allergic reaction to Wipes (which I use over toilet paper) and that dry skin is the major problem. I am using Cetaphil Restoraderm Cream and Body Wash for the dry skin on my body.
I will keep you posted on the end results. If it works, I will gladly share the treatment story with others in hopes others will be cured. I myself did a ton of research and one thing I was able to link to it that the Dermatologist never mentioned was "Winter's Itch". One of the symptoms was Hive breakouts. Any possibility this could be the issue if not Scabies?

I have the SAME exact thing. I've tried it all - sulfur soap, tea tree soap, oatmeal, epson salt...
It's either fungus or some sort of eczema.
I have like 3 different style bumps, though - tiny pink bumps on hands and fingers, dry (ringworm-like) bumps on my upper arms, and tiny pin ***** bumps on my stomach.
I ordered dermazinc soap from amazon hoping it will help :p

From the intensity of itching, scabies is an important possibility to be ruled out. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
You should change the bed linen, your clothes and wash them in hot water and dry them in sun. You can also use medicated soaps as well for bathing. He should be isolated so not to pass the disease to others. Personal hygiene is needed. You should see for any nearby pet infected with it too which can be the cause of transmission of disease. Low immunity can as well cause such problem. Take multivitamins along with the treatment. Don't scratch the area.
