Itchy bumps/rash on face...

Hi,

I keep getting these extremely itchy red bumps (surrounded by a rash) on my face.Sometimes theres nothing in them, but other times there can be a clear liquid or white (white head) pus in them...

They come up at anytime of the day/night and calm down about 1 hour after they come up...Showering is one of the worst triggers.

I seem to think this has something to do with the unexplainable dead skin build-up that I get on my face...I have to  exfoliate my face everyday (It just comes off,no scrubs or chemicals)

I thought I had seborrheic dermatitis,but a skin swab ruled that out..

Any thoughts?

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be aquagenic urticaria. It is a rare condition in which hives develop within 1 to 15 minutes after contact with water. The hives last for 10 to 120 minutes and do not seem to be caused by histamine release like the other physical hives.

Water urticaria is diagnosed by applying tap water and distilled water to the skin and observing the reaction. My sincere advice would be to confirm the diagnosis from a dermatologist.
