Itchy in multiple areas! Please help

Since yesterday evening my entire back, scalp, hairline, neck (all around), forgead, jawline, chest, and the skin over my rib cages are itchy practically every minute. I'm itchy as I type this. There is no rash or redness until I scratch it, due to the irritation scratching causes. I don't even know what can be alcausing this or what to do. I have taken a shower. And it's not dry skin.

Dry skin or xerosis can cause itchy skin and the other possibility is of any viral infection or allergic reaction.
You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used.But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist. Symptoms  can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin. I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist after examination.
