Itchy pimple like bumps on skin

For two weeks now i experienced only at night itchy pimple like bumps. I ruled out bed bugs because i searched for them and i have not found any and i am severely allergic to bug bites i would break out in something much worse. But this itchyness is driving me crazy. I cant sleep i ith from my feet,legs, and arms. I recently changed my bedding. I worn these sheets before so i dont know if am allergic to them or not. I could really use some help. I often switch lotions but i been using them for a log time. It is winter so maybe dry skin but why then the tiny bumps? Please help :(

For such itchy bumps which itch only at night, the possibility of scabies should be ruled out. Scabies is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite and is highly contagious. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
